Princey's Story - 🫶🏼🪽
It was a chilly evening as the salon prepared to close for the weekend. Just as we were locking up, a little black and white cat appeared outside the door, peering in with wide, curious eyes. The temperature was dropping quickly, and his fragile frame tugged at our hearts. We couldn’t leave him out there.
As soon as we opened the door, he stepped inside, greeting us with warmth and cuddles as if he had known us forever. But it was clear he had been through a rough time. He was painfully thin and clearly malnourished. We quickly offered him some food, which he devoured without hesitation.
Seeing how vulnerable he was, we decided he needed more than just a warm meal. Sam, one of our team members, volunteered to take him home for the weekend, ensuring he had a safe place to stay. When Tuesday morning rolled around, Sam brought him back, and that’s when his journey with us truly began.
We all pitched in to care for him, both at home and in the salon. A trip to the vet confirmed he needed some help to get back on his paws, so we got him the medications and care he needed as nobody came forward to claim him as theirs. As the days passed, this little cat, who we named Princey, began to flourish.
It was amazing to watch his transformation. His once weary eyes now sparkled with curiosity, and his thin frame grew stronger. He seemed to love the salon as much as we loved having him there. His affectionate nature became the heart of our space.
Princey has truly become part of the LCS family, bringing joy, comfort, and endless cuddles to everyone who walks through our doors. He’s more than just a cat—he’s our little prince, and he’s here to make your salon visit unforgettable. So, when you come in, don’t be surprised if he curls up beside you. His warmth will remind you just how special small acts of kindness can be.
Princey Passed away on March 3rd, 2025. He was so loved by all, and is missed terribly everyday. He made such an impact on LCS and we will always remember his sweet personality and companionship. RIP sweet boy.
